Dr Marcin Remarczyk is a Business Psychologist and Consultant. He joined the board as Chair recently, In addition to general management and business skills, he brings experience in the third sector including Diabetes UK and Digital Transformation, having consulted with IBM and Cognizant Consulting. Marcin's motivation to get involved with the board is his desire to continue to support those in need and ultimately 'give back' to the community and wider society.

Anjali is a forward-looking Digital Technology leader with 20+ years of experience in Customer Centric Technologies. Anjali currently advises on Compliance, Commercial, IT Investment and Operational Excellence in complex Digital Transformation.
As a member of the Balance Board, Anjali advocates data driven decision making. With her experience of working in complex and large multi-national organizations, Anjali provides insight into effective Stakeholder Management underpinned with appropriate Governance.
Anjali joined the Balance Board as a Trustee in December 2022.
Paul Henson is a qualified solicitor and partner at a top 30 UK law firm. He joined the board in 2019 and in that time has helped steer the charity through its transition to charitable status and assist with the diverse legal issues faced by the board and senior management team.
Paul enjoys working with his colleagues on the board and helping support the excellent work the charity does in delivering vital quality services for so many clients in the local community. Paul is excited to help steer Balance through its next chapter, with the new opportunities for growth and diversification which lie ahead.
Sarath joined the Board in 2023. He has been a director of several commercial enterprises and a consultant dealing with commercial disputes, start-ups, strategy formulation, strategy implementation and sales of companies. He has also been a Trustee of four other charities and a former chairman. Lately he has been involved in academia acting as a lecturer to Kingston University Undergraduates and as a visiting lecturer to Masters’ degree students at Imperial College.
Ian has worked in the international oil and gas industry for over 35 years in a wide range of senior commercial management roles. He joined the Balance board in 2019, having previously been on the board of Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell and a mentor at Toucan Diversity, a disability charity in Hampshire. Ian was attracted to working with Balance by its ethos of not telling people how to lead their lives but of providing them with the support and life skills needed to live independently, to make their own decisions and to achieve their full potential.

Stefan has a wide degree of senior management experience working in the commercial, charitable, and public sectors. He has worked on numerous boards including Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Greater London Volunteering and the Tiffin Girls School.
His skills in leadership, governance and coaching has enabled him to make strategic and transformational organisational changes by developing Investing in Volunteers and Investing in Governance quality assessment frameworks. These tools have enabled organisations to transform how they manage, support and develop both their boards and volunteers.
Stefan is Treasurer for a residential community cooperative where he lives in Richmond and volunteers for Ham and Petersham SOS, a local charity that supports isolated and vulnerable people, providing a range of social inclusion activities. He is committed to lifelong learning and development and supports a person-centred approach to client development.

Guy joined Balance in 2022, with previous charity leadership roles at community and national level and substantial professional experience in business transformation and strategic leadership in other public and private sector arenas.
Working with the leadership team and trustees at Balance he has built further on the charity’s historic commitment to a person centred and strengths based approach to the clients we support. He is an inclusive and collaborative leader, with a commitment to broadening leadership and decision making at all levels of the organisation.
Emma joined the team at Balance in January 2022. She is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience. She focusses on ensuring that Balance is sustainable and will be able to continue to provide support to Service Users for years to come. Alongside this she also works to ensure that our staff and volunteers have the resources they need to ensure that Service Users have the best support possible to live fulfilling lives and reach their own potential.
Onye is passionate about providing a personalised approach to support, ensuring service users have outcome focused plans.
Inclusion is a big focus and Onye works together with all stake holders; clients, staff, families and external professionals to ensure services are safe, effective, and well led.
Onye has extensive experience in various Social Care management roles and is also a qualified trainer, with over 10 years of training experience with an Advanced level 5 diploma in Positive Behavioural Support and an Executive Master’s degree in Leading and Managing Health Care Organisation.
