We are a supported employment support service for people who have a learning, physical or sensory disability and who live in the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
We support people to achieve their professional goals and aspirations, helping them to engage into volunteering experiences, training and education, work experiences and paid employment.
What we offer
There is more to find out so please contact us.

I have worked for Balance since 2017, when the organisation took over the contract to deliver supported employment services for Kensington and Chelsea local authority.
The first step is an initial meeting, this is to understand their employment history, skills, aspirations, support needs, and any barriers to work. The meeting focuses on getting to know the client, explaining the supported employment service, and agreeing next steps on how we can support.
Balance is unique because it focuses on giving people the time, flexibility, and consistent support they need to grow in confidence and skills. It is built around a person‑centred plan, shaped by listening to what the individual wants and what matters to them.
Support is tailored to their needs, whether that involves travel support, job coaching, or ongoing in‑work support or adjustments. Because the service is bespoke, it helps people secure employment that is meaningful, achievable, and sustainable.
We believe in empowering individuals to create a better future for themselves and their families. Our education and training programs provide the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's world.
When a client is happy and I have contributed to that, whether is securing a paid job, a meaningful volunteer placement or a training course. Seeing someone's confidence grow from initial meeting to the last day of support. This is when you see how important a supported employment service is and it's valuable impact.
Let's book in an initial meeting 🙂 It's about finding the right job, not just any job. There are no “wrong” goals—this is about your choices. Every experience helps you learn more about what works for you. With the right support, many barriers can be overcome.
